Clonallon’s Managing Director, Dermot Dempster was recently invited onto the Ulster University’s “The Business of Possibility” podcast to discuss the Higher Level Apprenticeships offered by Ulster University. Dermot is joined on the podcast with Dr. Wendy Austin MBE, Deborah Stevenson, People and Operations Director at PwC UK, Johnny Mooney, former apprentice and Judith Wylie, Senior Lecturer at Ulster University
Dermot was invited onto this podcast to showcase the benefit to employers of taking part in the Higher Level Apprenticeships at Ulster University. It provides students with the opportunity to ‘earn as they learn’. Students are in full-time employment 4 days a week and attend lectures 1 day a week. An employee of Clonallon, Luke Hudson, recently enrolled with Ulster University on a Higher Level Apprenticeship studying Business Technology. Dermot expresses his experience and viewpoint of having an employee pursue education using this route.
